Future plans

The tea table

The Western Health and Social Care Trust [WHSCT] have plans for rolling out the reminiscence training.

Workshops
The Older Peoples mental health service have just drafted a proposal for a new service model. This incorporates a stepped care approach where the WHSCT will be offering a range of therapeutic interventions for patients and carers on a group and individual basis.

The aim is for apprentices who now have been trained to start organising creative reminiscence workshops for patients and carers. A schedule of workshops will be held over the next year and each apprentice/staff member will be required to deliver 1 - 2 workshops within that year.
